On Friday, June 24, 2011 your favorite online discount cigar store is moving to our beautiful new state-of-art facility at 90 Mort Drive in Easton, PA!

Due to the move, Famous-Smoke.com, CigarAuctioneer.com, and CigarMonster.com will be temporarily off-line. We will also be unable to accept phone orders until our Call Center systems are brought back on-line. We expect this service interruption to be brief, and our websites and phone systems should be functioning normally within a few hours. We will also be suspending our same-day shipping policy during our move. We will resume same-day shipping once our move is complete.

Famous Smoke Shop values your business, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this brief service interruption may cause.

Sincerely,

Famous Smoke Shop
90 Mort Drive
Eason, PA 18040

Please Note: Our retail store will be closed for a few weeks as we prepare for our Grand Re-Opening at the new facility. Our luxurious new retail store will be just a mile down the road -- but worlds apart! -- from our old store. Be sure to plan a visit during our Grand Re-Opening next month! Watch the retail store web page for details.

Sweet, they will be closer to me, so it may be worth the drive.

488 miles door to door. Hmmm...might be worth a bike trip this fall.

That is just weird to me that they would take the sites down because they are changing location. Do they have their own datacenter or something? My customers freak out when their sites go down for an hour. We schedule moving stuff till late at night and get the new machine ready first.

No kidding. Wonder what the rationale was to wait until the day before.

I was wondering about that. I bet they have some sort of big warehouse management / fulfillment system on-site that the web storefront can't operate without.

I wish I had seen this before winning one of their auctions yesterday late. Hopefully it will ship before the move but seein' as that is today i'm doubtful.

The only thing that comes to mind is "shipping" they don't want to take orders for several days because they can't ship. The move to a new warehouse is a big task as I've done this before, but then again we kept everything up and running. Hard to say!!
