So I actually have some time to sit around this evening, I'm drinking a nice chardonnay, just kinda wondering if any of you have any suggestions for good cigars (or types of cigars) to compliment the wine.

i would think of a lighter flavored cigar... the fruit and butter flavors in the Chard should compliment a light woody smoke....

Unless it is an oaky wine and then a light woody chocolate smoke, um say a Padron 3000 would go well with it I think....

How about a shiraz with a stronger smoke??

I don't have any shiraz on-hand. I opened this bottle last night when I was drunk, and I don't have those vaccu-sealer things to keep it fresh so I need to drink it tonight.

yea if you are not a big wine drinker I would go with a stronger Cab... Than with a weaker Merlot....

I love wine, for my 21st birthday I went on a wine tour of California. . . I'm glad you corrected yourself about the merlot, I hate merlot! If I'd bought this bottle of wine it would've been a nice strong Cab, but it was a gift.

a Cohiba with a chardonnay is usually pretty nice.
