How to get avatar working:

1) Access http://www.botl.org/community/forum/profile.php?mode=editprofile
2) Scroll to the bottom of the page
3) Upload via your computer or link, or link to avatar hosted elsewhere
4) Submit

For custom text under the username, I can only change it currently. If there's enough interest I can have it where everyone can put their own in.
