Lets try another contest. If you are the winner of this contest you will recieve a fiver from my Humi.

Basketball season is big around my house every year but last year was the zenith for us. It was my son's senior year in high school and he left as his high school's all time scoring leader. He surpassed former NBA player and current University of Kentucky assistant coach Reggie Hanson's total.

The question is what was my son's 4 year total? Closest to the actual number wins. In case of a tie ( I doubt if , but you never know) What was his jersey number.

Good luck

Well, since Reggie scored a career total of 1167 total points in his KY career, I'm going to take a stab and say that your boy hit 1250.

Someone pointed out to me that I did not make it clear that My son and Reggie Hanson attended the same high school. Reggie was part of a state championship team. Reggie held the record for over 15 years until my son broke it.
Sorry for any confusion.

I'm going to go with a higher number here, if he broke a record it must be significant I'm thinking.

I'll say 1500
and his jersey number is 54

Thanks for the contest!!!:smt025

Thanks for the contest ... is your son goign to UK?

I wished.
He signed to play ball at a great college and due to his knee and the coach providing some "mis-information" he is sitting out this year and will go back in the fall...some place else.

Contest ends Sunday night. That way when I go to the post office Monday morning I can send a package out to the winner.

Does the winner also get some moonshine? asked sgresso.
If they want a taste of it I can send some.

Do we get a new guess each day? If so, then 1874 and #8

1198, #10, assuming as DRL has asked, that we get new guesses each day.

Yes new guesses are allowed today.
My goal is to give away some cigars. I spent a day trying to figure out who to bomb and I looked at names and I would come to one and say :yeah him"
then I would see another botl and say well I should bomb him too, and him and him. And soon I would have a Jerry sized bombing list but I dont have the ammo to back it up.

So the one closest and the second closest will get a package.

Very cool John. Great contest. It can be so hard to choose targets around here, there's just so damn many!

There is one real close on the point total and one kind of close on the jersey number.
Ends at 10 o'clock tonight.

It took a little effort, and I hope I don't piss anyone off...but I had some time to kill.

The scoring total at graduation was 1,812

If a tiebreaker is needed, BTW, his jersey # was 44.

BTW, the fact that his last name is not "Tripp" made this damn tough.

I'm in law school, so research is my thing.

Congrats to him on the all-state selection, and for finishing up with an average of 24 pts. and 10 boards for his senior year.

Of course, I could have screwed this up and, I would encourage others to continue guessing. Regarding "research", I am ranked near the bottom of above mentioned law school class.

damn, scott went sandra bullock in "a time to kill" on your aces :smt082

he's no law student, he's a ninja. and that is totally sweet.

Damn it Scott! Too bad us Pharm students are too lazy to spend the entire day looking shit up. Nice work.

Sherlock holmes has done his homework.
His package goes out in the morning.

Brandon Cross has been my son for 18 of his 20 years, hence the different last name. Your research is correct.
Thanks for playing.
