Hmmm...plenty of Glock-o-philes here who should be able to help with that, but you might also want to try www.glocktalk.com.

Yes, $400 would be a good price.

You can also check the completed auctions at Gunbroker.com for verification.

I've shot the 19 a number of times and find they have decent accuracy, not a lot of recoil and the ammo costs are reasonable.

The recent selling prices on Gunbroker for a model 19 w/night sights have been :

$380 (w/custom night sights 4 full cap mags)
$390 (w/ factory sights + holster)
$410 (w/5 clips & Trijicon Night Sights)
$437 (w/with front rail, box, papers, night sights)
$480 (w/factory night sights + 2 hi-cap mags)

I would say between 400-475$ depending on the condition of the gun, bbl, and finish, and what extras he is offering with the gun, i.e. extra mags, hi-cap mags, mag extenders, etc. etc. I'm not a big fan of night sights myself, remember the old premise a flashlight works both ways?

I haven't priced them in a while but from what I can tell on a quick search a new G19 with Glock night sites is going in the neighborhood of $500. Used, the price won't drop that much if it's in good shape so the $450 range that Tedski and TC mentioned above should be pretty accurate.

Oh and if you decide to go with it get ye some 15rd mags. They can be had for $15-25. Check local laws first. They're legal most anywhere now but there are local restrictions (CA, MA, etc)
Also, you may want to consider a good flashlight w/ tailcap switch instead of night sights. You always want to be sure of your target and if the light is so low that night sights are required you may not be able to clearly identify your target. Another advantage of a good, bright flashlight is that when you light somebody up with it they're temporarily blinded which gives you an additional advantage. Look for a light that uses lithium batteries and a xenon bulb like Surefire or Streamlight.

$475 does seem a bit high, but again, that depends on the condition of the weapon..Finish, bbl, etc....Without actually seeing the piece, I couldn't really give you an accurate price..
