Flavor Taint Question

Hi all. When ever I pass through an area and see a B&M, I like to stop and check it out. On occasion, I find that the cigars I buy have a particular taint to them. Surprisingly it is the same problem. The taste, as best as I can describe is like smoking a perfume, like Rose Water or something. Not at all pleasant. I used to think that it came from storing the offending cigar in close proximity to flavored cigars, but not all of the places seemed to carry and infused sticks. Any ideas as to what I'm running into? Anyone else notice this? Admittedly, not all of the establishments are of the highest quality.....but still....

I have noticed NCs tasting prefumy (sp?) before but I never attributed it to the B&M they came from.

If they were sticks that I hadn't tried before, I would just chauk it up to the brand. But this happens with cigars I'm familiar with... Puros Indios, Partagas, etc....

If they are from stores that aren't the greatest I would say it's a storage issue. RH, other smells, maybe they clean inside the humidor with something. :dunno:

Ah, never even crossed my mind. I'm so careful with what I use to keep my storage area clean, I thought everyone was......

But then there IS always the thigh theory........ If that could be confirmed, maybe it wouldn't be so much a taint as an added bonus... taking this one step further, the t'aint may also come into play.

I don't know where most of you got your fucking definitions for this word, but the Chode has nothing to do with a short or fat penis. It is a synonym of "taint" and "gooch". It is the area between your sac and your asshole. Why would you create a definition for something that doesn't exist, you morons?

I definately have tasted cigars that had a floral or perfume taste. I agree it is unpleasant. Wish I could help you with finding the source of that flavor.

Think about it, some Joe Schmoe comes in wearing his High Karate and just ate a burrito. He comes in and molests and contaminates many cigars. Well, that cigar that he molested now has absorbed every scent he had on himself and tastes like a burrito. Great.

The transfer to the cigars he gives me even in the cello makes them unsmokable. Worse if I forget and put them in the office humi, the smell transfers to all the cigars on top.:frownno: :frownno:
