Does anyone have any aerial or regular pictures of them. Also where they are located. When I am up that way I'd like to get a glance.

Most of the fields are located in Granby, Enfield and Windsor

Ludy / Taylor CT Valley Tabacco Mueseum (http://www.tobaccohistsoc.org/)

local shop (http://www.cvtobacco.com/contact_us.html) you can get some hand rolled CT's at. I have never been there, think I may go soon tho

I'm sure if I search I can find more info.

I appreciate it. Believe it or not I never have heard those wrappers being spoken of as CT. Sorry, if it was a dumb question.

We been having a lot of brush fires due to the dry conditions. Last night in Simsbury, another town with fields, there was a large brush fire that destoryed several acres of tabacco fields. It also burned a barn down and they had to work very hard to save two others before they caught on fire. Of course it was all cigar tabacco, what a shame...

damn, it has been very dry here lately too.

Guess prices will go up

I doubt this will affect prices, 3 or 5 acres burned, when there is 1000's of it up here.

If you take 91n, to rte 20 in Granby, which is the back side of bradly airport you see hundres of fields on both side of rte 20 and ton of barns. Its pretty cool.
