Soggy Butt

Are you one of those guys that slobers the tip of the cigar as you smoke.

I always hate seeing a half chewed, smooshed, wet cigar. Just nasty! :barf:

I prefer to try and keep my cigar as dry as possible. If I want to chew tobacco I'll put in a dip.

The head is rarely wet on mine. I can't stand to put my mouth up to a wet cigar....just gross. I guess I'm a snob. I enjoy rolling the cigar while I smoke, but that's only around my lips...which are dry...and not inside my mouth. Yuck.

I hold my cigar and only touch it to my mouth when drawing. I never hold a cigar in my mouth.

I lightly dry the butt by patting it with a towel. Oh not that butt huh? :blush:

Cigar is always in hand and never stays in mouth. I notice the smoke tends to travel up the cigar and I'd rather not have that going in my lungs every inhale.

Only when I am smoking while working outside. The hard breathing and smoke in the nose slobbers up the cigar!

I used to go to Ford factory auctions with my dad when he owned the dealership. Anyway, there was this dealer there that had to be about 300lbs. 5' 9" and would just sit there and chew on a cigar. I'm talking about actually eat the damn thing because he chewed on it so much. Probably the nastiest cigar sight I've ever seen.

I used to like them totally dry also. But during this winter, my dry lips hurt or would crack open while smoking sometimes. So now I prefer to wet my lips just a little before puffing and prefer damp. I never leave the cigar in my mouth either.
