View Full Version : Pipe and tobacco shopping websites.
You may not know where to go, so here's a list.
If anyone comes upon good tobacco or pipe sales, it would be cool of you to post them in here... as well as any good or bad experiences with vendors listed, if someone gets poor treatment from one of these places, i'll pull them from the list.

Looking back through some of my internet tobacco purchases, I found this website among my 'Great Vendors' list. I have absolutely no recollection of what I ordered from there for my pipe (must have been a few tins of tobacco) but whatever it was, the transaction went smoother then silk to be filed where it had been.

Hope this is the type of addition to this list that you're looking for.

I note www.mccranies.com is already listed. These folks are very nice, and make some great Virginia blends, which are what I prefer. So I'll jump on the bandwagon and add my recommendation.

I recently placed my first order with www.pipesworld.com (http://www.pipesworld.com) and was pleased. They were out of one of the tobaccos I ordered, so they sent me an email apologizing and threw in a couple of ounces of something else for me to try.

I think Todd can handle many obsessions at a time.

Try Sherlock's Haven in San Francisco. They carry a number of the finest Danish, Italian, and other pipes made. Marty Pulvers (the owner) is very well known in the pipe and cigar world and highly respected in the tobacco industry.

I'm glad Tedski put Mike on the list. I am a loyal customer of his, and if he has it, I will go nowhere else. He really will treat you right.
