I am sitting here tonight playing on the computer, deciding what smoke to have in the hottub listening to the Wolf. Wow what a voice, to me this is what the bles are about.
Saw a very interesting story on T.V. about his life. Not a lot of his music played during it just some good info about the man, his familt and his band.

Anybody else here get into the blues or specificly Howlin' wolf?

I've been in a blues phase for about a year. Besides the Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf and the other dead guys or near dead like Buddy Guy... I've been listening to current blues. Johnny Lang is playing at BB King's this weekend.

Know a guy form Oxford Miss that turned me onto www.fatpossum.com with stuff like RL Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, and Kenny Brown.

Saw one of their road shows in the fall ... T-Model Ford and Paul Wino Jones. Great stuff. Recommend the label.
