If money wasn't an issue what would you put in your cigar room? I am looking to build a cigar room which will be fairly modest because I don't have a ton of space. I do have a friend who just bought a house who is turning her (yes her) 3000 sq foot basement in a cigar bar. I'm curious if you could have any room in your house what you would do with that room? Are there specific chairs, TV's, tables, decorations that you would place in your room? For me a pool table, dart board, flat screen with the NFL/College football package, a small walk in, and some nice couches/chairs are things I dream of. What sweet cigar dreams do you dream of at night?

I am sure I will add to this later but the first and foremost requirments:
Comfortable chairs, good ventilation, refrig stocked, bathroom, big screen TV.
Then there are a ton of things you can add...pool tables, darts, stocked bar,
Mine would be simple. It would have to be about 500-750sq. ft. and have leather chairs/couches, pool table, plasma tv and surround sound. Oh and I'd throw in a couple Aristocrat humidors to boot!

I'd get an ionizer too.
Some nice lamps, cigar decorations on the wall, a few nice ash trays....

Me thinks Rutkus has been thinking about this for a while :scratchhe :hysterica

Hmmm, I would have to think about this but for starters it would have:
Dark woods floor to ceiling
Built in bookshelves with humidors in the columns like Matthew's
Luxurious leather chairs, likely reclinable
An ashtray stand for each chair
Some sort of large format HD TV with a nice sound system
Kickass ventialtion system, like Matthew's
A fridge and a wine chiller along with a wet bar
A bathroom
If it had windows I would have thick heavy drapes
Recessed lighting as well as wall sconces, all remotely dimmable
An aristocrat M-plus to match my mini
I'll have to think about the rest of it.
Wow. Unlimited funds, right?
1000 sqft room.
Smoke eater system.
Comfy leather chairs and couches.
60" wide screen TV & DVD jukebox w/ surround sound.
Pool table
Foosball table
Various pinball and video machines
Recessed lighting w/ mood controls
I like the stripper pole idea too. ;)
Full wet bar w/ kitchenette
Full bathroom w/ shower
Cabinets with built-in humis for pipe tobacco and cigars
Decorations would be early 1900's Deco (wall hangings, pictures, ashtrays, etc.)

Realistically money is always an issue. But if it wasn't...
The room would be a 20 x 30 humidor lined with actual full boxes of 1492's and Partagas 150's as the walls and ceiling. Inlays of Dunhill Cabinettas and certain other vitolas would provide highlight and contrast.
There would be an attached living quarters for Taboada. And a visiting suite for Don Alejando Robania.
The new 103 inch plasma would some down from the ceiling across one wall.
The 8 leather chairs would be remotely configurable from the outside control panel to move to fit the appropriate number of guests.
One wall rotates into a wet bar with the bar itself actually being a vintage wine cooler.
There would be a full time 24/7 smaller screen monitoring vintage cigar sales worldwide with new updates and bids. It would be linked to my online banking with touch screen capabilities.
And finally since we're dreaming here, I of course would miraculously become single again and the phone would ring... well of couse Ms. Alba please come over.

My dream cigar room would have multiple chairs. I'm thinking a nice sound system that I'd build myself. Full-range driver speakers, dual monoblock SET amps, SACD/DVD-A source along with a vinyl source. Gigantic humidor about 10 feet high by 2 feet deep and 10 feet wide all stocked with cigars made with my own custom blend. Nice refrigerator for my chocolate and tons of whiskey in the freezer. No TV it rots the mind and mine is rotten enough. Oooh I could have a small library as well lot and lots of scifi and fantasy.
Chairs like the one below:

I like everything about them except for the decorative staples. For some reason that has always bothered me.

I would have a corner set aside for a nice little brewery. Probably behind the bar. Just a little 10 gallon system.
