Couple of months last winter but I had the pipe to tide me over.

I've gone smokeless for several long periods. I really did not smoke anything for the first 19 years of my life - so that's probably the longest. I dabbled with wacky tobaccy in my college years, but outgrew it.

After another 13 smokeless years, I was introduced to cigars when I was 36. Since then my longest smokeless period has been about 5 months. This was my transition period between cigars and pipes.

Six months. The question on the application said "Have you used any tobacco products in the last six months". Now they say a year or three.

Yes, narcotics are always a good substitute for cigars...But cigars and narcotics is the way to go!

I will have a two week one going. I am acutally looking forward to the end. I think it is a good time for the palette to refresh. The 12th will be here soon.

Crack? Me? Never! In the words of the great Denis Leary, I will never do a drug named after a part of my own ass! Now, I'm getting ready to pop some Oxy, and go unpack my humidor..Prolly grab that Siglo VI that has been sitting for quite a long while now...Pop in Gangs of New York on my new 52" HiDef with accompanying DTS receiver.....Oxy...coffee...cigars.....Blood and guts in Hi Def....:gangfire: :gangfire:

Well, yeah, there was that 17 year gap, before I had discovered the joys of cigars..if that counts..
