As I type I am on my second cup. This is great coffee Brian! As soon as I opened the box I was hit in the face with tons of aroma. True sign of freshness. :applause: :applause:

Ethiopian Harrar
This has always been a favorite of mine and Brians does not disappoint at all. A wonderful fruity aroma as you open the bag of coffee. After a french press, it had its distinct winy fruitieness of blueberries, a classic trademark of Harrar.

Yemen Mocca Sanani
Another fruity coffee with bright acidity but nowhere near the harrar. It is a fruitiness in the background. It has a nutty flavor and some have said it to have a tobbacco flavor. In terms of cigars you would call this coffee earthy.

Another great part of Black Dog Coffee is that you get a full lb of coffee, not the 12oz that has become the standard.

I just seen this post. I didn't notice fruit with the Harrar maybe it was the batch I got or the age on the roast. I loved the roast but it was more nutty in flavor to me. It was a terrific bean either way.

Just had my first mug of the Yemen. Quite enjoyed it. Went down very smooth. Creamy sorta nutty flavor for me.
