A caffeinated soda. Delicious. What Coke Black wants to be.

Since I live in the Atlanta area, everything is a "Coke" regardless of the color, flavor, or calories. So, mostly I drink Coke.

I have been on a diet Dr. Pepper kick since the diet Mt. dew kick turned my kidneys inside out and caught them on fire.
Ale8one ......talk about getting jacked up on caffiene. I work at the Dodge dealer in Richmond Ky years ago and the owner must of been friends with the ale8 distributor because we always had barrels of it in the showroom on ice and gave a case of it away with every purchase.
Made in the same area as the beercheese.:roundtheh

Having lived in Atlanta myself most of my life, I agree with you! It is coke regardless of what it is! I drink mostly diet coke and sprite zero.

He's right, that's EXACTLY how it happens here.
I order a Coke, they say "what kind" and I reply with something that's not a Coca-Cola, be that a Dr Pepper, a Sprite, a Root Beer, or whatever.

Mexican Coca-Cola
"regular" Dr. pepper.
* In Texas, we call it all "Coke". In context:
Me: You want a Coke?
You: Yeah. A Coke would be great.
Me: What kind? Dr. Pepper, 7-Up, Ginger Ale???

If you get a chance to try Virgil's Root Beer, then try it. It is fantastic. If your grocery store has it, it will likely be in the organic or specialty section.

I'll have to take a look for it
First a disclaimer: NO diet drinks will ever enter this mouth again! My main drink is decaf/no sugar/no lemon Lipton Iced Tea. About a gallon a day. After that it's:
1. Mt Dew
2. Cherry Coke
3. Stewart's Cherry Soda
4. RC Cola
5. Faygo RedPop
6. Cheerwine Cherry Soda in the bottle w/ real sugar - I can't find it north of Kentucky!!!
7. Vernor's Ginger Ale - once in a while
8. RootBeer - I like it but it hurts my stomach from the carbonation if I drink a whole bottle.
