Well, the time has come my DC area brethren. The time for goodbyes is quickly approaching. I will be hitting the road for Nebraska the week of the 23rd.

With that said I would like to try and meet-up for a smoke and dinner at Shelly's before I leave.

Right now I am leaning towards the 19th of October. Starting Sunday the 8th through Saturday the 14th I will be alone with the munchkins so I can't get an evening out during that time. The 16th and 17th I will be in Omaha closing on the house. My Mom will be in town to watch the kids during that trip so I will be available during the evenings the 17th through the 19th. (Friday the 20th is my sister-in-law's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner for her wedding on the 21st)

So, my first choice is Thursday, the 19th, at Shelly's. My Dad will be in town and able to join us that day.

If you guys are interested in getting together one last time post here and let me know if Thursday, the 19th, will work for you.

If Tuesday or Wednesday will work better let me know and my Dad will have to miss out.

Depends on where in Jersey but generally DC is almost 3hrs from Philly.

I'm planning on spending the day in DC. Todd, if you get there early, why not take a visit to one of DC's finest strip clubs.

Strip Clubs open at 3 or so. I thought I'd catch the Zoo for a little bit (there are always chicas there too!), then hit the Spy Museum, maybe, then strippers, then herf!

there's supposed to be a new display at the zoo that might be worth checking out. Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be good so count on MILF's being there. The strip clubs suck in DC but they're better than nothing. Spy museum is fun and they have a great bar upstairs where you can lounge around. Across the stret is Gordon Biersch if you're thirsty and you can smoke a cigar in the outside sitting area. Capital Grille is also nearby and you can smoke at the bar.

I'll plan on being at Shelly's between 4pm-5pm.

Hey guys...yes, this is still on. My laptop bit the dust last week and still is not fixed...something about the motherboard being on backorder or something.

My dad's flight tonight back to Michigan was all effed up today so the time we will be there totally depends on when the old man can hit the road tomorrow and how quickly he gets down here. :rofl:

Most likely we will be there around 530 or 600. I could maybe be there earlier if Ray decides he can meet us there.

Damn Mark, that's sad news. Very sorry to hear.....We definitely missed you Bro.

Anyhow, I just returned from my D.C. adventure:

--Went to the Spy Museum, which was pretty cool. Saw 007's Astin Martin from Goldfinger (a replica I assume).
--Ate lunch, and drank beers with a cigar across the street at Gordon Biersch Brewery. Yes, they allow cigar smoking.
--Met up with Shane, Bruce (Shooter), the 'Banger himself, Todd and Big Boppa. Had a great time, great smokes, more beer and lots of cheer, and a few ghost stories. Oh, and some surprisingly tasty grub.

All in all, it was a memorable day and an excellent evening!

Great smoking place and best ventilation system for a good size place I have been in. Food was good for the price even better. Beers were cold and solid as well. An excellent evening for sure. Sorry more were not able to attend. Take care of your family Mark.
