My family and I always like to get away. May I humbly suggest a thread on where to smoke and recommendations on a place that one has visited?

Dropped in unannounced yesterday afternoon(Sunday) but there were no cars in your driveway. How about Saturday weather permitting?

I like this idea! How about organizing it by state? Those who have found cigar/pipe friendly places can post 'em. Then when those of us who travel can go to these places (such as restaurants hotels, smoking rooms etc.) and feel welcome. How about it folks?! :smokingbo

That's a good feature but it just does a google map search with whatever you have entered as your location in your user profile

WI is getting pretty strict with smoking laws. most bars are smoking friendly, but thats about it.

In London, the local La Casa Del Habanos houses a whiskey bar as well. This is much more meaningful now that a new law will take effect this summer in England banning smoking in pubs. This may be a last solace for smokers as it happens.
In Tokyo, try Kushiyaki Chubo Kuhuraku in Ginza, a 1 minute walk from Icchoume Station on the Ginza line. It houses a decent char grilled style Japanese cuisine and is relatively lively yet remaining quiet enough. The cedar styled interior and smoky fare goes well with the cigars. It is also well priced for Ginza standards. In Japan, happily, there exists almost now laws against smoking. Most pubs and restaurants will allow smoking but it may be wise to ask beforehand since some establishments disallow, due to the preference of the owner.
If anyone wants longer recommendations in other Far Eastern or English locations while visiting those places, I'd be happy to divulge locations. I've travelled extensively in those parts and took interest in purchasing cigars while there so do ask if you are visiting.

I just saw this -- why would anyone want to smoke thread? Let alone ask others about a place to do it? :dunno:
