Another PM peeve ...

So what is the reasoning behind being able to send only one PM per minute?

I tried responding to several PMs but had to wait between replies ... :-s

I would assume to keep you from accidently sending multiples of the same message.

My guess is that it's a safety feature to stop spamming programs for flooding the board with PMs

It's so my inseurity doesn't get out of control. That way, I don't send one, theen another asking if you saw the first one, then another asking if saw the second and so on. :smt001

There are certain nefarious software kits that can fill up PM inboxes of all the members but just going down the member list and sending hundreds of PMs.

Not really ... many of my replies are 15 words or less.

My guess is it's to prevent overloading the server. Too many too quickly by multiple parties could (guessing) overload it and corrupt it.

What's the big deal? I don't mind the wait, it gives me more time to add insults, rassing, and my oh so common signature emoticon to all you monkeys....hehehehe:smt098
