flying with lighters

I just heard on the news that in 2 weeks we will be able to bring lighters onto planes.

can anyone corroborate this? links?

So it looks like one of those Colibri flight-approved cases would still be a good investment.

I'm not interested in losing my trusty lighter so I'll just pick something cheap up in Houston.

Invest $15-20 dollars in a Colibri Tranzpack and take a torch. Good only in checked luggage. Been using one for the better part of a year now.
