    in my opinion country has gone down hill. I grew up on country music ( i wasnt allowed to listen to hip hop till i was about 11). there are very few contempary artist that i actually like. one being Old Crow Medicine Show they are kinda a blend of contempary and old school back woods music. check em out alot of people who dont like country, love them
