    Cool Hey

    Hi everyone, this board was reccomended to me by a friend.

    I'm an aspiring film/tv music composer living in Pasadena, CA but originally from Newton, MA (just outside Boston).

    I'm completely new to cigars but I've tried (and liked) the Don Pepin Blue label and Casa Magna. I've also tried (and wasn't a big fan of) an Alec Bradley tempus and a Gloria Cubana.

    I don't have a humidor but I'm using a crappy tupperware with Boveda packs.

    I've read some stuff about using wine refrigerators as humidors, and I have one, but unfortunately there is only 2 temperature settings (on and off).

    I signed uplooking for cigar recommendations and storage advice and this board looks like a great source.

    I haven't really honed in on any particular types of cigars, but I think I'm looking for full bodied cigars or cigars with sweetness or spicyness.

    I hope to try a lot of different types and would be open to a variety of suggestions.

    BTW, do some searches on the threads. I think I remember seeing a n adapter you can by to control the on/off type wine coolers. One of the other brothers bought it for his cooler!
    At the end of the day a cigar is just a cigar, but the memories made can last a lifetime.

    Welcome to BOTL. I am somewhat new myself and found this site to be wonderful. U can get lots of advice about cigars. Just start asking questions and I am sure that someone can answer it. I am getting a much needed lesson from types of cigars, how to store them and what types of cigars not to store together. Its great and the people here are fantastic. Again welcome
