    Default Myrtle beach cigar shops

I'll be in Myrtle Beach with the family starting the 15th. I was wondering what you guys might know about shops down around there. I'd probably be likely to buy things like Illusione, DPG My Father, and such. Any ideas? Google is telling of a couple but who knows how well google can find me decent shops.

Been down there the last few years and I echo what jjflynn3 said. The Tinderbox at Broadway at the Beach had the best selection of the places we went to, but the last time I went in there was a year and a half ago. Cigars can be found in a lot of places, but not a very good selection in a lot of those places. It seems more geared to the "tourist golfer" who wants cigars so they have a few to choose from in a small case.

We did go in to Nick's Cigar World last year, and while the selection was nice I don't believe they had any DPG's or Illusions. My advice would be to pack a couple good ones just in case.

I'll be packing for sure but like to pick up things I cannot get locally when I travel. I'll be in north myrtle to be specific and Nicks cigar world isn't far but maybe I'll try and check out the tinderbox.

    Thanks

I stay in N. Myrtle every year as well, Nick's is a nice shop and you should be able to find something there. But after you hit the Nascar park racing the go-carts stop by Broadway at the Beach. There are a ton of shops there and you can keep the family busy while you hit up The Tinderbox. Plus there are a few places to get some locally brewed cold ones as well.

That's the only two real choices there. Nick's and Tinderbox at Broadway.

Make sure you go to Nicks bigger location. It's up in North Myrtle Beach. You can smoke there, free beer on draft, and the whole store is a humidor. He sometimes has hard to find popular sticks.

I echo Craig Mac, Broadway is the place to turn the family loose while you shop. Nowhere to smoke really in the shop, but walking around the boardwalk offers plenty of sights, think babes, and other stuff to look at.

Cigar Shops near Myrtle Beach, SC

Nick's Cigar World and Tinder Box would be my first two choices, that's where I went when I was down there for Bike Week!

the tinder box should have most of what you are looking for they were well stocked last time I was down there.
One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

If you're driving down, why not stop at JR's? They're right off 95 and have a HUGE selection.

Just got back from North Myrtle Beach today. Our first visit to Nicks was the one rainy afternoon we had. Smoked a Tatuaje Regios ($9), and while the beer on Draft was Bud, free beer goes great with just about any cigar.

The Shop in North Myrtle had Tatuaje brown label (Regios and Unicos), and good selection of Havana VI, Pepin Blue, Black, etc., and Illusione. Also smoked a Casa Magna (robusto 5.25).

I filled my otterbox at the end of the week with Tatuaje and Casa Magna for the trip home.

As far as JR, I find their cigar selection to be beyond boring.

I go with the consensus. Nicks Cigar World in north Myrtle Beach was excellent. I was just there in June. Tinderbox did not have what I was looking for. DPG's Tats and such. Nicks had all the finer things in life. Everything was kept under glass instead of a walk in humidor. Beer was cold.

I stopped by JR's on the way back up north. One Big Shit getting store. Did not get anything there. I had already dumped 150 bucks at nicks
