    Hello everyone.

    I just joined this forum today with hopes of meeting some new people and learning more about cigars. I have been interested in cigars for a long time, but have never had the time or money to get into them. Now that I am a bit more settled and just starting my career, I am planning on smoking a little more often and compiling a cigar collection. Through some Google searching, this forum repeatedly came up and seems like a great place for a newbie such as myself to integrate himself into the culture. I look forward to seeing where things go with this!

    Since I am new, I feel obligated to ask some questions that will make some of you regulars roll your eyes:

    1. How does the trading work on this site? I've looked through some of the threads and I am a little confused about how it works. I don't have much of a collection yet, but I would eventually like to get involved.

    2. What is a bomb? I have seen this term in several posts.

    3. Are there any brothers or sisters out there from St. Louis, MO or downstate IL? I would love to meet some people to enjoy cigars with as I currently don't have any friends who are interested in cigars.

    Hey Bill! There's a really nice shop (rated #1 by Channel4) called Milo's. It's on Main in Edwardsville, IL, and it's a great family owned operated B&M! If you haven't checked it out, it's definitely worth the trip!
