    That was a gimme,
Let's see how you two stack up on cigar A!

This is a great value cigar - yard gar - IMO
It won't knock your sox off, but doesn't disappoint either.

Totally agree! I love these things, especially at the ~$3 price range you can buy them for on sale!

If it comes in a tube, it has got be good. If it comes in its own wooden box, it has got to be GREAT! Right?

    Cigar A
    6 x 52
Notes: Dark oily wrapper, GREAT construction, densely packed.
Now im almost positive I know what this is just from the construction/appearance/smell... One or two puffs should confirm. If I am correct, then I am excited!

Prelight: Fairly easy draw, Earthy, a little sweetness

First Third: Espresso, Chocolate, Earthy, small amounts of leather, small amount of spice on the retrohale Burn: A little wavy but nothing to bad (Pretty confident I know this cigar :-) )

Second Third: Earthy, Chocolate increases becoming a little bit sweeter, similar to the first 1/3

Last Third: Not much change but still great! A little nutiness with some sweet tobacco taste but chocolate is still prevalent with some spices in there (not spicy though if you get the difference)

Final thoughts: GREAT smoke, a bunch of flavor complexity- I couldnt pick them all out but enjoyed it none the less. It only required a few touch ups and was BILLOWING smoke the whole time- not sure if my pictures captured that.

Guess: Liga Privada No 9 Parejo Oscuro / Toro

Thanks for this whole thing Neil. It was a great experience!

    Cigar A
    6x 52

    Looks like a liga
    Smells like a liga

    Pre draw
    Dried fruit,

    First third
cedar, espresso chocolate and spice show up in the initial light. After a few puffs the spice drops down. the dried fruit taste from the pre light has diminished. A taste of sweet molasses is present. The ambient smoke smells heavily of cedar.

    Second third
The nicotine level is fairly strong in the second third, feeling the buzz a bit more than usual. A hay and leather profile became present. The core flavors remain earthy cedar with a faint chocolate undertone. The pepper amped up but only in the retrohale. the ash is very white, but not super tight. It seems to fall off every inch or so.

    Final third
Great cigar! The flavors melded together into one potent profile. Leather amped up a bit. I'm picking out chocolate, cedar, leather

    Final thoughts
Superb cigar, burn was sharp, flavors were full and distinct and the finish was strong. I would pick up a 5er if the cost was in the $9-11 range

    My Guess:
UF-4. Out of the two UF4s I have had and the countless T52s I've smoked, this tasted more like the UF-4s, keep in mind I have yet to have a MF-13 and only 1 LP-9 that I had to put out super early due to something coming up. I would have to say I enjoyed the UC Toro (cigar B) more than I did this one, it had less sweet flavors and a bit too much kick. But as I said earlier, I would still buy again.
