Hello everyone, I have a small 50 count humidor which has stabilized at 70 degrees and 73%. Is the humidity too high? I am fearful of mold growing in the humidor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's close to being too high I believe. Ideal is between 65-75 %. What humidification device are you using?

68-69% Is perfect for me. I would consider 71 to be "too high" obviously keeping it too high will cause problems, but it's also relative. Some people like their humidity set to 70/71 some, like me, like 68/69 and I even know people who prefer 65/66
Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about 70% humidity
The humidity sitting around 73% would cause me some worries down the road. I usually have mine around 65-68.

Keep it below 70. Most will say 65%-68 is where it's at. Also make sure your using a CALIBRATED DIGITAL HYROMETER.

it depends on what type of smokes you are storing, and personal tastes, but pretty much this! ^^^
Anyway, this is all entirely the opinion of some dude on a cigar forum, take and leave what you like.
Before going cray adjusting things what are you using for a hygrometer and is it properly calibrated?
