    Default First shots

My wife and I recently purchased a Glock 23 and a Ruger LC9.... Tonight was my first opportunity to go out and fire them... Impressiond.

Ruger - A little jumpy. The thing ejects casings almost as hard as it fires the bullet. But a neat little gun, none-the-less... My wife is going to need to practice hard with it, but that's what she wanted.

Glock - Buttah..... That's all I can say. I never thought that shooting a .40 caliber pistol would be so easy. Very little recoil, and it was so smooth and easy to fire...

Good to hear you like your Glock 23.

I'm a fan of the compact and sub compact Glocks.

Have never fired a Ruger LC9 so I can't comare it.

Just out of curiousity? Did your wife try shooting your G23? Some people complain about the snappyness of the .40 round. Personally I can't tell much difference in recoil between my G23 and my G26.
When I die, I hope to die like my grandfather did. In his sleep, and not like those other 3 passangers who were riding with him.

I've made a lot of money in my life, most was spent on booze, babes, cigars, guns, and poker, the rest I just wasted!

Oh, that Glock is a beauty to fire...

She has not fired it. She doesn't like the way it feels in her hand, she says it's too chunky for her. But that doesn't mean I will stop offering her the chance to shoot it.

What generation of Glock did you get a 3rd or 4th?
