Question Montecristo Platinum Petite No. 2 Torpedo

https://www.jrcigars.com/index.cfm?p...ItemCode=MXPL2

I'd be interested to hear input from anyone who has tried these. I love the CC No 2 standard size torpedo. Obviously this is not a CC so I don't have my expectations that high. Any insight would be great..

Thanks -

Those are pretty good. I wouldn't go by the name, but the monte platinums are decent.

You can try this sampler too:

I like the petite no 2 size, they are worth a try, but the cigars are only so so, IMO. I like that they come in a tin you can throw in your golf bag.

Iver had a Platinum Robusto...i like them...I dont really go for NC Montes, but a brother sent a platinum to me and it was very enjoyable.

Speaking of NC Montes, has anyone tried the Media Noche Edmundo?

yep, I got a box a while back on C-bad for $55 and it was worth it. They are on the same level as the platinum for me. They are a little more full bodied, and chocolatey than the the plat, but good none the less.
