Since I've joined here I've grown quite a bit certainly in taste of cigars. I used to think gurkha was great I now know other wise I tried smoking one the other night I still have some polluting my humi but I didn't enjoy it what should I do with these? I hate to just pitch a cigar jusÞ because I don't like them anymore nobody I know around really smokes and I couldn't pawn them off on a serious smoker I think it would be insulting! Should I just bite the bullet and toss the over priced cigars I have?

Put them up in the trading zone thread. You never know, someone out there may like them. If no bites, offer them up to a Newb. You could always ask them to cover the shipping cost. Small price to pay for some freebies. Can't see throwing them out.

Hold a "pick a number" contest Doesn't have to be complicated. Have you wife pick a number between 1-100 PM, and contestants get one guess per day. Explain the prize, What the smokes are, and that if you won't smoke em don't guess.. These are meant for someone to smoke, not just to fill up space in the next bomb. That way you know you are giving them up to someone who will at least smoke em.

What CraigMac said! There are always different people and forums running "Troop Bombs" or "Cigars for Troops" programs. I can guarantee, 100%, that no matter what the cigar is there's a troop somewhere who would love to be able to take an hour break and smoke it.

There are bound to be tons of guys in the armed forces who are just like you when you started - just learning, and still enjoying Ghurka's (Hell, when I was new, I smoked quite a few ghurka's myself).

Yes, nothing gives a bigger boost to morale than cigars. In my experience seems lot of troops enjoy gurkha.
have you seen the black op's? they cater to our boys. also understand they have run packages over to, or promoted with the troops over seas as well. and you know our people who serve care about loyalty!

Well thanks for all the input brothers I'm going to give to my brothers in arms. I realized if I would have been into cigars while I was still in service I would appreciate the smokes no matter what they were. Semper Fi

I'm thinking what you drink with the cigar may change the synergy in flavours. Change what you're drinking it with, then decide...
