I just came into some unexpected monies and I am looking to buy a box of ISOMs. My favorite vitola is CG and I was wondering what is everyone's favorite marca in this size?? Keep in mind I have never had a CC before but my favorite NCs are the Tatauaje 7th and the illusione cg4. So I am looking for full powered cigars.

If your looking for "full power" stick with NC's. If your looking for Med body and "full flavor" then start trying CC's. Don't pull the trigger on a full box until you know what you like.

I don't know that any of the corona gordas, if you are looking for body and strength on par with Nicaraguan tobacco, are going to do it for you. Generally, as a rule, Cuban cigars are less full in body than many non-cubans. For example, what is considered "full" in the CC realm, would probably be closer to medium-plus, medium-full in the NC realm.

That said, my favorite CGs are the Upmann Mag 46, and recently, the now discontinued Rafael Gonzalez Corona Extra. For the kind of body you are looking for, Partagas and Bolivar might be good marcas to look into, though neither has a corona gorda.

Based on what you're looking for...buy a box of the Ramon Allones Allones Extra. Never had one myself, but based on reviews...it's exactly what you're looking for.

A 2nd vote for the Upmann Mag 46 as well.

The strongest Cuban cg would be the Bolivar Corona Extra (just discontinued, but available here and there). Great stick. That would be my first suggestion.

Next would be the H. Upmann Mag 46 ... fantastic in recent years with just 2-3 years of rest. Close to medium-full, but not full.

I haven't had the RA Extra LE, but have heard good things. Can't wait to try that one myself.

As others have said, Habanos tend to be full-flavored but not full in terms of body or strength. But as a first cigar of the day or whatever, they can be great if you get a good one that has enough age.

Just get a cab of mag 46s and you'll be fine!
Personally only had fresh mag 46's and didn't do much for me. I heard 08's are really on now.
When I want a stronger stick I go for a Boli. I am no expert when it comes to ISOM as I've just started down that slope. Been buying at least 2 boxes a month the last 3 months after going through a bunch of singles in prior months

What are peoples thoughts on boli royal coronas. I know they are robustos but an hour long smoke is key to me.
I personally love them. They are not quite a typical Boli ... a bit lighter, more creamy with some floral qualities. But tasty and they are ready to smoke relatively soon for CCs. Don't rush them, though, or they get a little bitter ... slow relaxing smoke. They take me a bit over an hour usually.

If you're dead-set on a 1-hour burner, go with a Boli PC--possibly the best in the line, though I'm a Bolivar ho so I like a ton of the vitolas, lol. Stronger than the RC, more chocolate, and cheaper as well.

You may want to check out the Bolivar Belicoso Finos it's a full bodied cigar out of the box and mellows a bit with age which really brings out the flavors.

What he said ^

The Ramone Allones Extra is definitely a full flavor bomb that will remind you more of the NC cigars you like. They will age wonderfully.

And like others have said, there aren't many CC's that will give you the flavor bombs of the NC cigars you listed above. If you want something along that line, go with the Ramon Allones. But you can spend much less to get a great Bolivar and I do love the RC's. The Bolivar Corona Extras are a powerhouse smoke (nic wise) but are discontinued and are much harder to find. I like the Rafael Gonzalez Corona Extra and those too are now discontinued but you can still find those.

^definitely a stronger Habano, though bigger (90-minute smoke for me, give or take). But try them when the weather warms up, they're great.
