This cigar was available at Federal's 91st Anniversary event this past weekend. It was available as a pre-release in a total of 50 boxes of 10. It is the first in Pete's Limited Series. It is 4 mm longer than the T110, and is from the T110/Fausto blend.

Thanks for the review, Jere. I would be curious to see a comparison between this and the T110, as the T110 is one of my favorites. You indicated it was the "T110/Fausto" blend but IMO the Fausto is disappointingly not as good as the T110. Hopefully this one is the T110 blend and not based on the T110 blend.

The T110 and the Fausto are the same blend.

From Pete:

“The T110 blend is the Fausto blend….The T110 size will not be made in the line but the blend is the same”

Having said that, I agree with you...While liked the Fausto, it was not as good as the T110 was, IMHO...

Yeah, I am aware of what was said... But to me, it just ain't the same. Went through a couple boxes of T110's and only a couple singles of Fausto and won't be buying any more. That is the reason I would be curious to see how this stacks up against the T110.

I'm with you in regards to the difference, for sure :)

Of course, this is not the first time the "same blend" has yielded very different results...after all, almost none of the newer Black Label violas taste anything like the OR CGs (the PL comes closest, imho)...Even if the blend is the same, different years and different (specific) tobacco means a different cigar, it seems...

And I (like you) am interested to see how this one tastes, considering it is almost the same size as the T110...

Personally i thought it was the t110. I preface this by saying that my first T110 was at least a year after they were released...., but i have had a few since then. Whether it is blend, size, or a combination of both it did not taste like a fausto....

Thanks for the review. I'm guessing that this will become a regular release without the limited band, or will it still be "limited"? Anyone know how limited?

Maybe it's time producers stopped using the "same blend" and started blending for the "same taste".
