  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

We all have specific things that we look for in our cigars, either conscious or subconscious. One of those things, obviously, is flavor. There are specific flavors that "turn us on" when we read them in a review, be it leather, bread, salt, honey, caramel, tobacco, etc, etc, etc.

What is that one flavor that just sits right inside your wheelhouse?

One of mine is salted caramel, and have only come across this a couple of times in a cigar. But, I was watching a review of the Cohiba 1966, and one of the guys said he tasted "peaches and cream". I've never come across anything like that, but I have to say, it intrigued me.

I usually can't pick out individual flavors. But the ones I have found and enjoyed were caramel, coffee, walnut, and that smooth creamy taste.

This is an awesome idea for a thread. Everyone's palette is different and it's interesting to see what others like. Great idea gravity!
Thanks! :)

Yea, I'm getting a kick out of reading what everybody enjoys. Some of the posts can be eye opening as well, helped me with a couple mystery flavors I've been thinking about lately.
