Had a Cain F lancero last night and was quite impressed. Can't believe I have neglected to have one for so long. Been loving the Tat black label petite lances as well as the Herrera esteli lonsdales. Any brothers out there have a favorite lancero/lonsdale to suggest? I'm really starting to enjoy this particular size.

I have also been on the hunt for lanceros.
I just got the 7-20-4 Lanceros but haven't tried one yet. The robusto was awesome.
I also have some LFD Cameroon Cabinets, BOTL 2012, Tatuaje Petite, L40s and J Grotto Reserva.
The Tat is awesome and the L40 seemed young at the time.
I had a Cain F and I bombed it out.
Definitely looking forward to trying the others that I have.
Also just read on Halfwheel that CYB will be coming out with a lancero in May!!!

I think you'll find a lot of Lancero-love on BOTL - really amongst many seasoned smokers.

I wish lanceros were more popular with the general public so we can trend away from larger ring gauge formats. I'll pick a lancero over any other vitola almost every time. My two favorite lanceros are the Casa Fuente, Don Carlos, and L40.
I didn't know JdN made a lancero, I'm definitely going to tray and track some of those down. The El Triunfador No.6 was what got me looking at that vitola.

hmm, I've gotta try those. The Antano lancero is great.
I forgot about the Cabinetta Lancero. Very underrated - great with coffee in the morning.

Fun facts about that lance:
1) Hogfarmer gave me two (or was it three?).
2) When I smoked one, it was the first lance I ever smoked.
3) It is my favorite lance that I, personally, have ever had (which isn't saying much, because I need to smoke more Lanceros)
4) Number Three may not be entirely true because I did get to smoke an OB El Triunfador, and that was legit.
5) I have a couple with your name on it.
