Okay, on June 10th my daughter will turn 1 year old. I want to celebrate this in a decent fashion. I don't own HTF cigars or CC's. Hell my humidor stays pretty light most of the time, but I want to find something that will honor this occasion. I am looking to my brothers for advice. I would like to get it in the next few weeks and let it rest in the humidor until June 10. I enjoy mostly working man sticks like the Undercrown. I enjoy medium/full body smokes with great smoke output.

I would say you don't have time to get something that really needs to sit till then that it makes a difference. A higher end padron would fit your flavor profile, be not an everyday stick AND be ready to smoke. But ill make sure you have something to sit down until #2.

We are having an Fuente event this afternoon where the B&M owner is bringing out some boxes of old stuff (maybe aged anejo or opus) I can see about getting you something. It should be something damn good as Mr. Kendall is a collector something fierce and Im told his private stash is impressive.

I broke out a box of Robaina's Don Alejandro when my daughter was born, almost three years ago (turns 3 on May 27) that I had been aging initially for my wedding but never got to it so thought no better occasion than the birth of your first child to break out a new box. Tossed some around to friends and family who smoked and still had quite a few left. So on her 1st and 2nd I cracked into them, I plan on getting another box or two of these to age so I have a decent supply to smoke at all her future birthdays.

I did, but was a random stick a buddy got me. I didn't really start into the hobby until after the first of the year. Your idea is an amazing and thoughtful one

The Davidoff Puro D'or is a great stick to enjoy on a special occassion. Any of the DE Undercrowns, T9, T52, Dirty Rat, etc. Oliva V is a great go to stick. The Padron Anni's are great as well.

Oh, that won't save you. Brothers here have been known to level houses....entire blocks....just to get another BOTL. Some of these guys pack nuclear-sized payloads and once they have you in their sights, well....I'd just make out a will.
