It is time. Tomorrow I will have my left shoulder scoped. Gonna shave down a bone, move/reattach a tendon, and anchor a rotator cuff. I guess the rehab is gonna be a hoot!! I'll be home bound for a few, so come on by...

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Good luck...none of it sounds fun. I have not so fond memories of rehab after the ACL surgery a few years back. Just think of all the free time you will have to smoke more cigars though!
I work in a Physical Therapy Clinic, and although the rehab is a long process, you will do great. I had my shoulder scoped back in 2008 after waiting 10 years to have surgery for a torn labrum. By the time I went in they said I only had two small pieces of my labrum holding my shoulder in place. They went in and found that I had a 30% tear in my rotator cuff but left it alone and put 4 anchors in to hold my shoulder in place and then started therapy a week or so later. It was about a 6 month recovery to getting back to being able to do things that I like but the shoulder is solid now. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. Hey I hope all goes well, but with shaving down a bone spur you will have pain..........
Had my shoulder scoped in Feb, it hurt like a bitch. For the first few days find a nice place to sleep in a chair or couch with your back propped up. This was you will be less likely to roll onto your scoped shoulder. Drop me a line if you need to chat and like was also said it will be 6 months till things are closer to full strength.
