Favorite College Team

I don't know why, but I have never been able to get fully invested in college football. I've tried many times, unsuccessfully, to really try and follow the season and be a "fan". I just never could. I think it is because I think the lack of any sort of playoff system is ludicrous. Also, there are so few teams that actually have a chance at winning the championship. However, I am a HUGE college basketball fan! I think the NCAA tournament is the absolute best event in all of sports, pro or college. One huge field of teams, one and your done, last team standing wins. Tar Heels, baby! Go UNC!

Louisville Cardinals. Grew up 30 miles away and now work in the Ville. If they don't go undefeated with their cake schedule this year is a disappointment.

Although I also have allegiances to the Florida Gators (wife) and the Univ of Central Florida Golden Knights (daughter). SEC football is pretty special.

Honestly I just love watching college football. I get down every year at the conclusion of the bowl games.

most of my mothers side of the family are coonasses that have moved out of the swamps and into small towns surrounding baton rouge... I spent most of my summers in Tick Faw, Amite, Hammond, Independance, etc while growing up (I am secretly an LSU fan too )....
