BoM December 2012
So, as many of you know I got bombed a wineador. :dunno: Since then, I've been researching how to humidify it properly. I see that many guys are using a combination of beads (HCM or Heartfelt) AND Boveda packs. I guess my question is why? Why do you need to use both? Could I theoretically use just one or the other? I emailed HCM the make/model/dimensions of my new wineador & they said that they recommend me using 3 lbs. of their beads ($150.00 worth) and nothing else. I emailed Bovdea and they said to use 2-3 Bovedas per 250 cigars and nothing else.
So which is better and more importantly WHY? I've pretty much excluded Kitty Litter as an option as I just don't know enough about it to trust my stash to it. I obviously don't want spend more than I have to and I just want to make sure I'm doing it properly. I already have probably 20 or so Bovedas fully charged (I recharge them myself) in ziplock bags waiting to be used, but I just don't know if I could use them and nothing else. So, guide me in the right direction please....
