To me the shark ages a little better. I've said this before, But I've smoked 1 yr old sharks that were better than 2 yr old 49's. I can't explain why, it's odd, and that's just my opinion. But that's what I got.

I'm going to agree with Speedbump. Although I said I thought they aged better. I guess it doesn't make them worth the overspending.

Depends on how much more. I got my sharks for 12.95 a pop. The 55s are like 11-11.50. For a buck and a half? Yes. For 10-15, don't think so, but it's everyone's opinion.

All up to you. Buy some and see what you think
This . I know that's not what you asked, but you're going to get guys that say yes and guys that say no so realistically it's going to come down to you trying some and seeing what side of the fence you fall on.

if you aren't getting robbed, the 55 is actually more expensive compared to the 77.

that's why they are still in stock. lol

sharks are going to be tough, a week ago they popped up on a lot of sites, but from what i can see they appear to be gone. (exception being sites marking them up big time).

You can find 55's for about $13 a pop, a bit high, but not too bad. pm me and i will tell you the website

If you want to get $12 sharks, you need to act QUICK, they are gone within hours

I have a box of 2012 that I bought a couple of months ago. I've smoked a couple and still prefer the 46 so I wish I had just bought the 46's.

That said id smoke any Anejo over many other cigars as a first choice. They are just that good IMO.

Seek out a few and try them.

it's preference. i usually go for a 46 or 50, fits my aesthetic and my time constraints. i usually bomb mine out, as they make people's day. that said, i have had times where even an anejo hasn't quite hit the spot as it were, but whenever i burn a gifted sharkie, it always seems to be magic.

if you find them at a reasonable retail, it might be worth it. your call. if all you get is jacked up pricing, jump on a more reasonable size. there really is no bad anejo, IMO.

The most you should be paying for sharks is just shy of $16/stick. HTF at that price but I manage to do so around April and October each year, the only times I stock up. Others here claim that's steep, but I haven't found cheaper myself.

I always put a few in the humi this time of year and will smoke them next year this time. A year age rotation seems to suit them we'll IMO.

I use to chase down Sharks years ago before everyone jacked the prices up for them. In my opinion the #46 is the best Anejo and if I go into a shop and they have all Anejo sizes I'll reach for the #46 every time.
