Let me tell you guys a story. Its not a fun story. Its not a story with a fairytale ending. Its sad actually. I used to drive a truck cross country and had amassed a pretty awesome collection of cigars while traveling this country. Had a nice humidor in the truck and had over 100 cigars all neatly packed away in it. GREAT sticks, and some not so great, but they were mine. Torches, cutters, travel humidors all traveling with me as I toured the country.

One day, I notified my dispatcher that I wasn't going to drive a truck any longer, and came off the road. I packed my belongings and I put it all in my car at the terminal and I left for home. As I was unpacking my stuff at home, I noticed my cigars and humidors and accessories were not in my car. I had left them under my bunk, where they traveled with me, when I unpacked my truck. I was sick. Heartbroken is more like it. I couldn't believe I did that. But, alas, I did. I simply LOST my whole stash. I stopped smoking cigars at that point. I really mourned losing my stuff.

That was three years ago. I have lost 110 pounds since then and am WAY more healthy now. I bought a few cigars for new years day and now I want to start building my stash again. Without the weight on me...no heart trouble...diabetes GONE, I feel a lot better about starting up again, what was once a passion. Since smoking the cigars this weekend, I am still passionate about cigars.

I thought you guys might like my hard luck story...Time to spend some money and get my collection back.

ONe things for certain....I know where my cigars are and I don't take changes of them being lost anywhere...anytime. I did have an ex wife who destroyed my collection when I was on a business trip but that's a whole nuther story....which is why she's an ex...may her soul rot in every concentric circle of hell.

Congrats on the weight loss, I was reading it as a bad thing. You lost your cigars got stressed, stopped eating, and needed medical attention because you dropped 110lbs and now weighed 90lbs.
Welcome back!

I lost a freezer bag of cigars. My wife asked me what I wanted to do with the cigars in the freezer while we moving, What cigars?? They'd been in there for over 8 months. That's my biggest cigar loss. And a couple orders I placed but shipped it to a previous address on accident, with no luck on getting them back.

That isn't a serious accusations all...I couldn't log in to Truckingtiger and couldn't reset my password because I had no access to my old email. I thought the only thing to do was create a new account, so I did. I emailed Eric yesterday about trucking tiger and he fixed me up. Im going to have the other one (piratesofthepit) deleted as soon as I get a tracking number from someone I bought some sticks from on Pirates... Once I get that tracking number, Ill email Eric and have hime delete the pirates account. Hope that kind of explains it.

Understandable. If Eric's aware then no explanation necessary. I saw you took part in the newb trade with your new profile and thought someone was trying to take advantage of brothers on the forum.

I did take part kn that so as to build my stash back up. I haven't been her nor posted nor smoked a cigar in 4 years, so technically i AM a newb...LOL. I don't remember SHIT from smoking cigars back then. And not to worry...I would NEVER try to take advantage of any member here or anywhere else. I respect the brotherhood too much that crap.

That's a heart breaking story bro, I still have not forgiven myself for losing 1 La Duena in a jacket when I got kicked out of a club... To this day it haunts me. I think it's worse because it was a gift from @Senor Perfecto . I can not fathom losing my whole stash...
