Bought a few special smokes recently...
I bought these in honor of my Grandfather who passed away in 1996. I've heard my father talk about them so I thought I would see if they were still available. To my surprise, they've been made in Pennsylvania since 1896. I sent him a picture and he was so happy to see them. He didn't have the best relationship with him growing up (he was an alcoholic) but I know he holds a special place in his heart for him.
I'm going away with a few friends of mine to Sand Bethlehem in PA at the end of the month for one last get away before his wife has a baby (how's that for a run-on sentence?). Anyway, I bought some of these to smoke on the Friday night when we get there. I have some Cuban's in transit to smoke for the rest of the weekend.
Not my picture but I bought two tins of these also. I'll bring one along just in case we want a much shorter smoke anytime during the weekend.
Every now and then my wife and I like to take a walk around the neighborhood. Most of the time I grab a cigar to smoke. I figured I would buy some special ones to share with the moments my wife and I have some time together.
