Last day in Florida before headed back to the frozen north. Re experiencing this Oliva--picked up a sampler a few years ago and keep being reminded why it's a favorite

I've had a lot of good times here in the past… His backyard is the second tee of a golf course and there was a time when we would play golf every day I was down here. Unfortunately, the dementia has progressed and trips down here lately have become about arranging and monitoring care (and dealing with warring factions of his second wife's family) but it's always nice to get down here and see him

From last night herfing with an old co-worker of mine. This hog with thanks to @Cigar Monster. Have put off smoking this one cuz of the size, but in honor of Room 101's demise. Only made it about 2/3 of the way through. Partly cuz of the size and partly the taste. Very metallic and mineral like flavors.
