BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

They did at one time, had a gift shop and even a museum. But sadly they discontinued any sort of tours or visits to the museum.

The pipe definitely had stain in the bowl and it was noticeable intermittently during the smoke. The tobacco was good though. Fresh from a can manufactured last June it was everything I had hoped.

Sitting Private Stock "Lord Of The Manor" in a Missouri con finished off the evening last night.
The blend started off pleasantly sweet and fruity with a spicy plum. A musky earth and dark wood is evident with a touch of nutty molasses. For the first half of the smoke I was ready to go order a couple of tins.
The last half was dominated by the Latakia. It just got darker and heavier through the end. It is a good blend but you have to take it slow and easy through the last half or it loses complexity.
