My sister bought $900 worth of paper goods, Lysol, handwipes, and canned goods from Sams when the first notices of the virus being an issue hit the news. My BIL drives a truck cross country so he's never home, its usually just her in the house.

Any other examples of hording you'd like to share?

I cant saying am hoarding, but I did pick up 10lbs of chicken breast cuz they have been out since last week. Also booze. I already had a butt ton of that before they closed the liquor stores.

We have plenty of storage space so I normally stay pretty stocked up. It would take 6 months to eat through the freezer of meat, and normally buy Costco sized paper products. About the only thing we are worried about are perishables. Fresh veggies, milk, eggs. Our local grocery has done a great job of stocking all but paper products and disinfectants.

I’m in the same boat as @gurgalunas with a closet full of paper products and a freezer full of meat that were acquired long before people started dropping over from the wu wu flu.

The only thing I have bought a little heavier than normal on is cheese and tortillas. Otherwise my purchases have been as normal.

2 freezers...just use flushable wipes instead of toilet paper ..Mexican food is a staple for us...pork, chicken, etc. Cheese with sauces and a ton of taquitos...

We're set pretty well but only shop at grocery stores that cater to senior shopping hours which is around O dark thirty....plenty of booze and cigars....yep, we're good.
