1st Herf for 2022?

I am not making this statement to step on the toes of Jfire. But if all else fails I'd be happy to open my place for an event. Just as a back up. However, I love Chi much more than Mi. Gotta make this happen.

*There is no entry into my home this herf. I’m 42 now not 30. Let’s keep my wife happy. You can relieve in the back of the property (there’s coverage). I’ll figure out #2s.
*no overnight lodging but if you want to tent it, I’m on a acre. (Split a room at a local hotel with another brother)
Golf on my local course 2pm (Thursday is cheaper….)
Herf to follow at 6pm. I’ll need to book golf by August 1st.

I'm about 95% sure I will make it that week. Thursday the 18th would be my best day but I can make Friday work too.
I was actually planning on visiting a couple of my big customers in Chicago either that week or the week before so it works perfectly.
I am not interested in golfing so no need to hold a spot for me on that.

We closed on our house (in another state). We will be back in Chicago in late Aug/ early Sept. Unless I can convince the wife to head home to Chicago a couple of weeks early, I won't be able to attend.
It isn't feasible for me to drive solo for 2 days to a herf in Chicago, then 2 days back, and back again to Chicago a few days later. I'll update if I can get the wife to leave early.
Anyone in the area should try to make it to the herf. JB is a fantastic host and one of the coolest brothers you'll meet.
