  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've been smoking a bunch of Padron 1926 #2's.

They're semi-affordable, being 5.5"x52.

Man, what flavors out of this little guy! Tons of spicy coffee flavors, with of course the constant Padron chocolate taste.

I know this seems like the typical Padron.. chocolate, spice, coffee, ETC.. but there's just something about this little stick that keeps me coming back.

What has been your favorite cigar lately?

As of a few weeks ago, my current favorite became the Edge Torpedo in the Sumatra wrapper. The Sumatra Edges aren't all that easy to find, but I get mine from Holt's. :hearteyes

The last one I smoked, what ever that may be. My collection consist of about 150 different singles and doubles, with about 50 dogrocket yardgar bundles I bought way back..

I have really been enjoying LGC MDor #4-2002 lately. Never was into the floral taste...but it's a really nice change of pace. Usually, I'm smoking very full bodied in your face cigars but the LGC needs to be sipped. It forces me to take my time and just enjoy. Wonderful little cigar.

I have been enjoying the CAO MX2 (can't wait to try the LX2 in my humi!) as well as (oddly enough) the Rocky Patel Summer Collection 07.

I will post a review of that LX2 when I smoke it.

PS- The 1926 Imperial and the No. 9 get me every time. About 10 seconds after I light it, I slide down to a 30 degree angle in my chair and tell the world to @#%$ off- It's just me and the cigar. The depth that stick has and the delicacy of the flavors are simply astounding, and it is never (to the finger burning end) harsh. I wish I could smoke them daily, but I just don't have that kind of cash flow.

I enjoy the RP Edge Sumatra sticks as well. Don't believe I've ever seen the torpedoes locally however. I usually get the Toros (at least I think that is the size) in the Sumatra. I like all of the Edge cigars. The Corojo and Maduro are excellent. I've even grown to like the Lite Edge. At first it was too light for me, but now I enjoy that one too.

I like to smoke several sticks before I form an opinion of the brand. I am about 3 into the La Riqueza and I've got to say I'm very impressed.

Ive been spoiling myself...what use to be a once in a while CC, has turned into a "Smoke if you got'em, Lets see how fast we can smoke them!" type of mentality....

Ive been enjoying, Monte Petite Edmundos left and right...here and then a PSD4...PLPC for breakfast...but I have to say that, in the last week, the best stick i smoked was a WC Veruco....good damn!

Camacho Liberty 2008. At first it seemed like it was missing something, but now that I have had a couple more there is a flavor to it I can't quite place, sort of a grassy type of flavor, and for some reason I am diggin it. Tastes very different than what I have been trying lately.

Well if you want to live it all at once I'd suggest that I smoke the 2001 --- Vintage PARTAGAS LUSITANIAS SUA SEP01 I've been enjoying but what would I do when they're gone?:cryloud::cryloud::cryloud:

Other than my beloved PLPC (I`d smoke one every day if I had a steady supply:drool:), I`ve been visiting my box of La Rickey #1s an awful lot lately. I`ve also become quite fond of the Holt`s Connie Prince (corona), and Pepin Black 1977.
