B&M = Brick and Mortar = Store where you buy cigars.

Coffin = A type of cigar box that holds one cigar. Although the Tatuaje Franks were released in a box that resembled a coffin.

Suddenly forgot the coffin as a one-cigar-box. That too is a coffin, indeed. (I damn ye Pete Johnson; ye've taken control of me mind!)

However ye preffer. If it's in it will still be humidified (the same with tubes (even closed) and cello). If so, it'll help protect the cigar from too much manipulation, as well as humidity spikes; and if not, it won't take as much space.

When one buys a box of cigars would they all come in coffins or would they come in a standard box? My girlfriend bought me this one as a nice surprise one day and I'm to afraid to smoke it, mostly because now it has sentimental value. Is this type of cigar one that would get better with age and how long is to long to keep a cigar as it is aging.

Not all cigars come inside coffins, inside boxes. Actually there are not so many like that, but, for example, Partagas Culebras come inside a coffin each and the coffins do come within a box. Perdomo Edicion de Silvo is so as well.

I find them too expensive for what they are (not that they are shite), but give them a try! Maybe they'll work for ye.

1 cool thing about coffins are that you can smoke the cigar and keep the coffin for the sentimental value. Win/Win Situation.

That is true, would it suffice as a way of traveling with a cigar over the weekend. Or would you suggest a travel humidor.
a travel humi for sure. Even in a coffin it it not held tight and could sustain damage. also the coffin a no function at preserving humidity.

I'd suggest some type of travel humidor. For single cigars, I use an ABS plastic tube like this one:

The only place I can currently find them online is here:

Some B&M stores sell these with their store logo as promotional items.
