Just curious about the range of smokes people like. I like a full Opus every time, but I also like mild cigars as long as I smoke them at the correct time like first smoke of the day and not after a heavy or spicy meal. I'm a 2-4 cigar a week kind of guy and it's rare I smoke more than one in a day.

However, my closest cigar bud calls Tat Browns and Illusione HL weak and seems to always want a super full cigar. He only smokes on weekends, but then it's at least 3-4 per day every day. And I've seen him do three churchills back to back VSG, Opus, GOF. Dam I can't keep up with the guy and I've gotten sick more than once trying.

Anyway what's your range and how regular of a smoker are you? I'm thinking there may be a trend here.

I usually go for a full smoke myself. I try to smoke less, but I'm averaging smoking about five days a week. I usually smoke 5-9 sticks a week. I'm trying to cut that down just a little. But anyway I have to go. I'm going out with a friend to go have a smoke.

Call me middle of the road. Too light I do not enjoy too much. Too much ligero and I want to puke or feel ill. I smoke about one stick per day but cutting back if I can. Mostly PC or TPC sizes. I doubt there is much of a trend.

I generally smoke one to two a day. I like to stay in the med and med/full category. IMO, vitola has a lot to do with it. I prefer the smaller size cigars and therefore have time and tastebuds to allow me to do that. I seldom smoke anything larger than a robusto, unless I am playing golf or going to a party. I am about to go try the new Ambos Mundos here in just a moment. I have been pretty busy today so this is my first smoke of the day.

i gotta agree with smokem. right now im only smoking once or twice a week but i will never shy away from a mild smoke. this is especially true if im in a very relaxed mood/atmosphere. no everything i smoke needs to knock me on my ass.

this past weekend at the herf/nerf in boston was my first day smoking 3 in a day (well, 3 within 4-5 hours actually) and on the way home i was kinda nauseous and felt i needed some FOOD.

Even though I usually stay in the medium-full to full category, I enjoy a good cigar, period. Much like coffee. Even though I usually enjoy an expresso, I also enjoy a good mug of regular coffee.

When I play golf I usually start out on the mild side for the front nine and something stronger on the back. Usually at home I may have 3-5 a week and usually go with something medium to full.

I'm usually a medium to full smoker averageing 1 per day, sometimes 2 in one night and none for a couple of days. I am usually drinking something with it, be it root beer or regular beer or whiskey. I normally do not smoke after a meal. The only cigar I couldn't finish on an empty stomach was a LFD double ligre. That was stout for a 1st smoke of the day!

I lean towards med/full - full. I do smoke a milder cigar in the morning. This time of year I smoke a couple on the weekends. When it warms up in CT and I can open the windows and can hang outside I smoke one sometimes two a day. When I go away with my brother, we smoke 4-6 a day. Nothing like a good cigar!

I'm still new to this, so I hope this doesn't skew your results. I usually smoke about 3-4 a month. It's not one a weekend though. After about two weeks I will probably smoke 2 cigars each weekend for the next two weeks. Since I am still sampling, I will smoke something that is Full bodied, the first weekend, then something that is mild and I will always have a LFD Coronado, or a Gurkha Symphony. In the next two months, I plan to work my way through the CAO line and Illusione. First I have to get through those Tats and Pepins.

Med to full winter i smoke a lot less, because i don't like to be trapped inside. Spring summer and fall give me my lawn chair and a nice day and i am happy. Vacation is a whole different story i get up with a coffee and a cigar and will smoke all day love it. Thanks Mitch

3-4 a week mostly Med-heavier full strength latetly. But I always love a milder strength gar as long as it has good flavor. If it too spicey for to long though I dont like that at all. A great example of perfection is the pam 64s. Really throaty up front but nice and smooth in the middle. I know also though that the RP OWR corojo is as good as it gets though for smooth morning coffee smokes. Thats about my range in a nutshell.

I tend to stick squarely in the medium and medium-full category. DPGs, 601s, Oliva Vs, illusione, etc. I like very full-bodied cigars but unless I'm careful they kick my ass too much to smoke regularly.

I don't look for strength, I prefer flavor. It is possible to have a full flavored cigar that is mild in stength, these are usually some of my favorites. Mornings are when I tend to smoke milder cigars, evening fuller strengh.

Sometimes a slap in the face from a strong cigar is what I want but a mild flavor bomb never hurt anyone.

I concur with the above post.

I usually choose cigars considering what I am drinking/eating and the time of day. I tend to smoke on the fuller side because I am normally smoking at night.

I usually smoke 4 to 5 times a week. It's uaually in the evening. I would say that I'm down the middle because I smoke both, though I seem to be leaning towards the medium Graycliffs now.

I hate to say I really haven't had a lot of full cigars that I have actually felt are strong other than Don Pepin's. I would love to start moving towards that direction though. Right now I've been smoking tats and guapos.

The other day I followed up an Opus A with a Royal Jamaica!
So yeah, I appreciate cigars that are mild and cigars that are full, as long as they are good cigars!

Gracliff cigars, imo there is just one line that is any good at all and that is the dbl. espresso. I also have a espresso lancero that was gifted, i was told to give this one a chance. For the money they are loosely rolled and have a bad burn. I will spend my money somewere else. Sorry for the rant it is just my .02 cents
