Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Ish I still thinks its Bs but you know the guy that is at your fav B&m everyday. The same guy that you go to for info on a stick. The same guy who says nothing but when you ask has the answer. The weird guy but the guy youll still ask. Yep it was him.
I would have concern in that situation, but Pete is a bootstraps kind of guy. I just dont see it, I have to say it isnt so based on what I know from Pete.
:nodlaugh: but kidding a side. This would be a huge blow. I love Pete's work and I'd be gutted if the 'doffs; who I hate to bits "even when I used to smoke cigs"; would take control of such a great Cigar brand.
Bro, those guys are so full of shit down there! They are "Chicago" some of the best B.S.'ers on the planet, believe me I know. I go in there very rarely anymore but I still go because it was the shop I kinda grew up in and I'll tell ya I wouldn't believe a word that came out of anyones mouth from there... With that said I'm sure Davidoff couldn't even afford Pete anymore as he steals away more and more of the market share he is a "speculation" market right now! If he were sold tomorrow someone is going to have to pay a premium just based on the "potential" of what Pete can do in the next 1-3yrs and I'm sure he would be kept on as a consultant and he'd have to sign a non-compete. Pete is the cigarworld right now and Davi couldn't or wouldn't want to buy him.
