What is the cigar you always seem to forget about and then you smoke it and you are blown away?

For me its the DPG Blue Label. I used to love these things, but over the past few years Habanos and other sticks have taken priority. Every time I smoke one I always kick myself for not having/aging more.

Punch Rare Corojo. This used to be one of my go to sticks but once I expanded my tastes I don't smoke it or the Libertad as much anymore. But, when I do... It/they, hit the spot.

The Pepin ones, yes.
With age, even the newer ones (made at Raices Cubanas I think) are great. Padilla is definitely the whole brand that I forget about, and every once in a while find one buried in the humidor, like the Dominus I found recently that I bought right when I started smoking cigars. WOW. With that much down time, at the bottom of the deep, dark humidor, it had turned into a smooth, black pepper and leather bomb.

Good thread. Made me go look. La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurado. I have a box from 2005 and 6. Wonderful cigars with great smoke and flavor.

Oliva Serie V - I always come back for more after trying several no-names and new releases

Ashton VSG...... don't smoke or keep them as much as I used to... but when someone sends me one in a trade or something, I always enjoy it.... and wonder why I don't smoke more of them.

Good one. The VSG, for being as big a name as it is, and as good as it is... It definitely doesn't get talked about much, and I have only ever smoked a few of them. I just always get distracted from them, or pick up something less expensive (I will say, I think the VSG, at least at my locals, is a little overpriced)

How do you know which are Pepin other than the box? I received a single in a lotto payout.
I actually prefer the new sig 32's using Casa Fernandez' Aganorsa leaf. I'm getting tired of the Pepin pepper bombs. The non Pepin's have Padilla written in script on the band.
