Anyone know a good place for beans up around northern NY? Moved from Arizona and Sweet Marias is kind of far when it comes to ordering beans (has been taking about a week and a half for delivery). Would like to find something a bit closer.

Check out Bodhi Leaf Coffee Trades. I just recently switched to them and they are quick and have a great selection. Im currently drinking their Peru Apu Gourmet beans and they are fantastic. Sign up for their newsletter, they do some killer sales.

I saw Saratoga Coffee Company??? That might or might not be the name. I do know they're in the upstate and I actually found them through Death Wish Coffee company.

Thanks for the heads up. I like sweet Maria's service but I hate that they don't have a consistent selection. I find something I love and then it's gone when I go to re-order. Bodhi has some very good prices from what I'm looking at.

My last order shipped the same day, give them a shot. They do 25% off almost weekly

Burman Coffee Traders is in Michigan, Jon and the crew do a great job and have excellent green coffee.
Sign up for the email specials.
I shop at Bodhi Leaf too, both have their specialities....Burman has more coffee from limited regions (like Congo, China, Hawaii, Dominican Rep,)

Bodhi has a wider selection of coffee from the Americas.

I have always wanted to try Blue Mountain beans, what notes/flavores do you pick up from this coffee?
I have always wondered why you never see this blue mountain stuff in the realm of third wave/specialty coffee. I assume it's because, when compared to specialty coffee, it's not very good. But I've never seen any to actually try. Just speculation on my part.

Love, LoRoK.
