I missed your first post. I plan on going. It’s my bd weekend so I’m getting a free day from the family.
I usually try to get to this one right at open so I can get one of the comfy seats.

Attended the DE event yesterday and had a blast!

I brought a few buddies with me to the event and two of my uncles even met up with us. This was each of their first times to attend a Cigar Event so I was excited to get to introduce them to that side of the cigar world.

We also met up with Tyler (@tengel78) at the party. My first time meeting Tyler and as usual for this BOTL forum, the dude is a bad ass!

It was a 3 hour drive each way to get to the event from NW AR so we started smoking in the truck. I smoked a Por Larranaga that @Glassman bombed me. Such a great stick - thanks again, bro.

When we got to the event, I found Tyler and made the introductions. As soon as that was over, Tyler pulls a freaking death grenade out of his backpack and hands it to me. What a jackass!

Since I’m only a year into the CC game, almost all of these are new to me. Thanks again, Tyler!!

After the smoke cleared from the pointblank nuke, I lit up an OR LP T-52 that I brought. It was incredible.

After that stick went out, I lit up a Dirty Rat from 4 years ago but failed to take a pic of it.

We had BBQ at the event and multiple beers were on tap. All of it was all-you-can-eat/drink for $5.00. Great times!

Then Jonathan Drew showed up to the party. The line started to form so I ran up there and got to hang out with him for a few minutes. While talking to him, he kept handing us more stuff. I walked away with this:

That dude always blows my mind. Always handing out so much stuff for free.

JD also gave me a second Manifesto to smoke so of course, it was lit.

I believe that was the last Cigar I smoked at the event.

On the ride home, I smoked a Sobremesa and it was, as usual, the boobies.

All in all, it was a terrific event, great people, and always fun to meet guys from this incredible forum.

(By the way, does anyone have Tengel78’s address?)

Sounds like a good time. There is an event here in Denver in December, I will be attending.

That Undercrown looks like a helluva smoke.

And whoever gives out my address is asking for trouble.
You’ll never know who did it. No worries, guys!

Is that a lighter on the right?
What's the stainless #9 thing?
It’s a cigar case and holds 3 of them. Super nice!

It was pretty dang good. Harsh at first but it mellowed out quickly and was pure flavor town the rest of the way.

Sounds like an awesome time. I was surprised by how cool JD was when I met him at the barnsmoker.
Yeah man, I’m always blown away by how great JD is at all of these events over the years. Love or hate his cigars, you have to respect his event game. Dude is a pro!

Tags not working for me - just now seeing this, otherwise I totally would have made the drive and we would all be hungover today lol
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I know that’s the truth!
