Newbie here. Recently retired college prof., been smoking cigars for 10 years, just ordered a kit from Leaf Only to take a shot at making my own. I've tried most of the usual suspects, high and low, and in the end have mostly been disappointed. I figure I got nothing to lose trying to make my own.

About the only cigar I smoke now is from a small outfit in Miami called Cuban Tobacco Cigar Company. I visited there once about 4 years ago, bought a few cigars, and they haunted me ever since. I tried to order them on-line with no success. Finally, I called them up and got them to send some to me, which I have been doing now for a year. They make a line called Bello, after the family name. http://cubatobaccocigarco.com/ They have a small presence on line, but not much. And you can only order over the phone, at least at this point. If anyone is familiar with them or has tried them, I would love to hear from you. I want to learn how to make my own so I can see if there's any chance of reproducing their cigars. Probably not much of a chance, but I figure I can learn some things along the way. No other cigar I've had tastes or smells as good. To me anyway.
